In 2012 following the formation of Everything Everywhere which provides services through the Orange and T- Mobile brands, a huge number of existing rooftop, Greenfield and street works sites required decommissioning.
TSL has been selected as a subcontractor working on this high profile decommissioning project for the UK's
largest communications company. We are undertaking the removal of the Orange equipment cabinets as well
as climbing the structures to remove antennas and feeder cables and carrying out complete site strip and reinstating the site to the landlord’s specification. A large amount of the works has been on Arqiva & WIG sites where we also manage the access requirements.
We have also carried out many Greenfield and rooftop site removals for O2 & Vodafone including some high
profile sites such as Gatwick Airport and numerous sites at the Olympic Park.
Another decommission project which has been completed is the removal of ‘three’ from existing WIG sites.
The work involved the complete removal and waste management of the operator’s equipment including the
tower/monopole, cabinets, feeder cable, antennas, cable management and electrical supply. We managed and
undertook all works using cranes, cherry pickers, track way and liaising with the client’s landlords and local
authorities. This project called on our full team of resource including our climbing teams, NRSWA Streetworks
Engineers, Electricians and Civils operatives.
